City Cyclists - Free Beer!

For those of us who work (or live) in the City of London there is a meeting at the Guildhall next Thursday.

From what I can ascertain the last meeting a year ago was attended by 60+ cyclists and drinks and nibbles were severd by waiters in starched white jackets. So it's a full lycra dress code for us then! B)
(It was followed by a tour of the Roman Amphitheatre under the Guildhall)

Time to bring up the issues of crap cycle lanes, no enforcemnt of loading restrictions on cycle lanes during the rush hours, lack of cycle parking, ....... and I'm sure you can all come up with more

" City Cycle Forum next Thursday.

This is a chance for people who work in the City to hear what's new,
ask questions, and give input on cycling initiatives.
There will be drinks and food afterwards.

The amphitheater is quite something - well worth visiting.

bump - for free beer alone it should be worth turning up. Also if you look at the website there if a freee film (with more beer) on Friday

Went down. Quite informative and the red wine was very welcome - and didn't appear to run out (unlike the food).



No tour of the Amphitheatre though.
