Spotted heading south on the M18, near Doncaster, a Bedford S Type truck, identical colour to this, but not a pristine example, looked like it was in the condition you'd expect to see if it was still being put to work, but well looked after, no photo as I was driving north.

There was an interesing piece in the magazine, I mentioned a couple of posts ago
It was stated, by a road-tester/truck journalist well respected in the specialist press, that the starter-motor on a latest generation Volvo FH16, produces more torque than the diesel engine in its 'grandfather', the F86!
