Cleaned my PC - now my RAM isn't working

It wasn't until this morning when I booted up my PC that I realised that it was ridiculously loud! So I took it apart, pulled out HUGE chunks of dust from the fans and got it looking good on the inside. I set it all up again and it's almost silent now.

However, I did notice that it was going much slower than before. Under 'Properties', it says "1.5GB of RAM (511MB usable)". I thought that maybe my RAM sticks weren't inserted properly but they're fine. It was working before and everything is the way that it was, what's happened?

All working now! Thanks for that, I just took the sticks out and put them back in.

It's also silent now too. My PC no longer sounds like a jet engine
