On the Maldivian Islands. It sent shivers down my spine at the amount of stars one could see.
My wife and I just used to sit on the beach after dark with a drink just looking at the stars for hours on end.

august, 1999 near Dieppe on France's north coast... not only did the great scheme of things treat me to my first total eclipse, I also saw more shooting stars than I've ever seen before or since.

Hale Bop is also a distant yet beautiful memory...
