When I stop pedaling I often get a big clunk. May possibly be when I stop and back-pedal very slightly. Any ideas? Cheers.

BB bearings perhaps. On old cup n cone setups, ive had 'clunks'..i always imagined it as two of the balls binding together, then suddenly releasing , giving you that clunk. Basically a nadgered BB perhaps.

Could be a bit of drag in the freewheel. The clunk being the rear mech taking up the slack?

Thanks. I'm suspecting a dragging free hub. I have lubricated it do hopefully it will be okay.
