Ok so I've caught my sons chesty cough and cold. I was planning on a commute to Rochdale, not a necessary commute just one to get return some stuff to a former employer - plus I do like riding in rough weather.
So I googled if it was ok to ride with a chesty cough, I came across some breathing exercises to clear phlegm from the lungs...
1-2 deep breaths
3-4 normal breaths
1-2 deep breaths
3-4 normal breaths
3 hard huffs
Then 3 hard coughs just get some green stuff up
I got to the 3 hard huffs and went all dizzy and out of breath, so the mantra I learnt during my training of, neck up symptoms exercise is ok, neck down forget it - was actually worth listening to.
