Cold... so cold, something must be done!

So what was last night all about then? It was minus-4 on my way home. I eventually lost feeling in my hands, which was a godsend as I do not ever remember them hurting so much .

I had seen it was due to be nippy and taken glove liners and a base layer... but minus-4!

Whoever's doing this has to be found and stopped. I understand the US may have some specially trained operatives who suddenly find themselves with time on their hands. Anyone got their number?

It's the worst time of the year. It's too cold for shorts/t-shirt in the mornings and too hot for full gear in the afternoon. Then, you get thrown a curve ball Winter morning as well. My advice.....

Helps if you have to get bike from garage/shed in a t-shirt , bring it in, then get changed.

Thats almost what I do. I get up, go for a whizz, open the back door and see what its like out. Eat some grub and have a drink. Then I get dressed.

I've ditched the rack bag (on beam rack) for the summer with rucksack for mon in, and fri out... but I have this problem as above.

I now have leg warmers with my shorts - which can easily be put in my back pocket on the way home

Or you could buy some cheap gear from aldi or lidl and keep it in your locker for those that are sent to test.
