Had this one a while now.It was my first: Rebuild a Classic project.Sadly I never took a picture of it to show what a state it was in. It cost me a tenner to buy the machine.Pictures show the bike nearly completed.Paint job by Mercians.
All early SR campagnolo parts. It the lightest bike I own.

Bloody loverly, same lugs as mine but in rather better condition. My Super might be older than I thunk, we should compare frame numbers.

It's gonna cost £400+ to get my frame sorted

Carlton - has to be the Colnago.

These nice paint jobs cost a bomb..., so I'm not surprised it will cost £400 big ones to sort your Colnago Mickle.

Baggy. The Carlton is the International model. This fancy lug lwork first appeared in the early 50's,at the time it compared with Hetchins or any of the frame builders who excelled in lug work. The model also reappeared in the 1964 catalogue.
A 20 inch International frame sold on e bay last month for about £200.It requried painting and had no chrome:ohmy:
One Carlton worth looking out for is the Jewel.

Thanks for the info. 20 inches would have fitted, but not at £200 without chrome - that's shocking! I had Carlton years ago (I think a Corsa) which isn't anything special but it rode really nicely.
The Jewel is lovely, have seen one on a gallery painted up in red and purple, it looked amazing!
