Colomba - Retro Merino Jerseys

Hi all - i am new here and just realised i should have posted this here and not in the Cycle Cafe. Whoops!

Anyway..............

I have recently bought a jersey from a new UK company called Colomba. I saw a little “Coming Soon” article about them in Cycling Plus last month so checked their website out.

Am very impressed so thought I would spread the word as I think the prices are very reasonable for the quality of the jersey


They are Merino Sportwool and on the few rides I've been on so far I found my jersey was really comfortable and fit perfectly and, as they claim on the website, it kept me warm and wicked well. I went for the Peace Race jersey but there are a few retro style designs on their website, am thinking of ordering the Italian Tricolor one next. I ordered it through their website and it arrived the next day!

With 48% polyester, it's still quite likely to end up stinky - that's my main reason for avoiding synthetics.

Thankfully this is not a problem with these - no more stink than normal!

I think that is a pretty high natural fabric content compared to anything else i have ever owned.

Must remember the deoderant too!

Someone just asked me that! I think i need to be contacting this Colomba company and asking for some wages!

No i posted in cycle chat then realised this is where it should be, as the cycle chat was more like "who would win in a fight?", "Ever been attacked by a celeb" etc!

Anyway like i said there - No not from the company - just not impressed very easily, so on the rare occasion i am I feel it is only right to share!
