Introducing the Google trike, "Google is expanding their 'Street View' service from motor vehicle roads to biking and hiking trails." Note the photo credit is for "Google UK" suggesting that it might be in operation over here...

Thats pretty cool. However, I didnt think they had mapped (/photo'ed?) all of the uk roads yet!.

Arch or someone started a thread on this a while back, rather from a blog a news story.

A lot of the UK has supposedly been filmed (a lot more than is on street view already at any rate) and there's supposed to be a massive update at the end of the summer.

I think including bridleways or even cycle paths would be very positive, I don't expect to see many because of barriers.

I'd believe this as I saw the streetview cars and not seen their footage, and they were driving around about a year ago - hopefully i'll be on it
