I'm not looking forward to the uptake of Google Glasses among UK drivers. There's plenty of people trying to knock me off my bike at the moment without any more distractions adding to that.

It's a distraction, pure and simple. Even if turned off, then a) why would you keep it on? b) you might be tempted to think along the lines of...perhaps I could just turn it on for a minute...catch up on Corrie, or whatever.

Wouldn't you need a TV licence? That's 3 offences, life imprisonment in California. They might also crush her car just to be sure.
