I noticed, on my ride in today (on the loud bike) that some of us humans have very little common sense.
Four things stood out.
1. A chap with a bike (20 years old maybe) stood about 15 feet from a zebra crossing waiting for traffic to stop so he could cross...it didnt and he looked perplexed...???
2 A couple in Knightsbridge stood out in the left lane of the road (actually a left turn lane) chatting to each other, laughing and totally oblivious of the cars having to indicate around them ...back into the main lane just to then turn left. Completley ignored the horns and the screeching of tyres..didnt even notice them ???
3. Lady pushing a bike across the main roundabout at the top of constitution hill, refusing to go in anything other than a straight line from hyde park to constitution hill...refusing to use the crossings and causing untold swerving as she just "strolled" across...its a 4 lane road on one of Londons busiest RAB's ???
4. Right turn out of Hyde park toward Albert hall. Neat little arrows on the desk to show where you sit to turn right and where the opposing cars will sit to cross in front of you and also turn right (their right). Cars all doing their thing, when "chap in car" pulls along the left of all the traffic and sits in the opposing box...totally blocking all opposing traffic from turning right. Massive honking of horns, totally blocked road cab drivers shaking their cabs in fury..."chap in car" looks about the place confused as to what the hold up is. ???

I really do, I'm not being sarcastic, because despite these four Darwin candidates, the other 4 million of us got to work just fine, without taking our lives in our hands or upsetting anyone.
