commute to a one of destination

Today I was on a course at a very chi-chi swanky modern purpose built management training centre just outside my home town.

Two things

Top marks to Roffey Park Institute and their reception team; "No although we don't have outside cycleracks/storage you can leave your bike here (the secure delivery room or here a handy bike sized lobby area) and we will keep an eye on it for you" and the trainers who were completely unfazed by me turning up on a bike and didn't treat me like an alien.

Zero marks to the rat running drivers on Forest Road Horsham. The 3-and-a-bit mile ride to the venue was about 20x more hassle than my regular 13 mile commute. Bellends almost all.

I rolled up at a Holiday Inn at the back end of last year for a three day workshop. They locked my bike in their 'switchboard' room for the duration. Top marks.
