I think in the USA they have a huge problem with the jaywalking law, anyone using the 'road' thinks they have the right to bully pedestrians, when in reality they are the must vulnerable and we should be looking out for them!

interesting that some of the bits that look like 'silly peds' is marked as 'failure to yield' , so is that the 'turn on red light if theres no peds' bit ?

I think you're completely wrong. It looks a bit like Beirut - everybody breaks all the rules, but nobody gets hurt because it's done with care. And it's all at slow speed.

I'm becoming more and more intrigued by the notion that removing road signs, etc. helps to speed up traffic flow while reducing deaths.
