Just spent the last three days getting used to my new bike and was really looking forward to riding it into work for a four-midnight shift, now look at this weather:angry:. Absolutely bouncing it down, probably sharing it with Fossy!

Tipping it down now - we are 'apparently' in for loads of it - thunder too, very dark..... Guess who has his lights with him.....

I took great delight in cycling in this morning. It was great fun. I put rain legs over my shorts and my waterproof jacket and overshoes on and away I went. My shins were plastered with dirt from having to cycle through muddy puddles that took up the whole of the path. Thought that a lot of water would have got in through the tops of my overshoes, but they held up really well. The rainlegs did better than I thought as well. Just a few wet patches on my shorts where the rainlegs don't actually cover (usual internal condensation though associated with waterproofs).

Weather has cleared up now, the downpour has stopped to be replaced by a little sunshine. Wonder if it'll stay like this now.

Fine rain, but heavy. I hope it stays, then I can ride home with my Hopes on full power - just too see how many mororists I can annoy....

Those rain legs are pretty good - a mate used to use something similar.
