Agreed......let's hope nobody tries to 'pinch' Gus too. A richly deserved promotion.
Falmer - what a lovely looking new ground.

it's a great achievement.

The move to Falmer is a challenge because their home advantage will take time to rebuild, but if Poyet stays they'll have no problems in the Championship.

Yup, well done Brighton.
Anyone remember the FA Cup in 1990. I think the whole country was behind them to win at the time.

Poyet = Chelsea legend..(apart from one little indiscression of leaving Chelsea and signing for the most overrated most rubbish crappy London team ever)

Lost it, got it again.
but very, very brave. Still - as things are, you'll be joining them.

No comment on that after last nights fiasco at Rochdale!

Congratulations to Brighton and Hove Albion. I moved to Hove in 1979 when they were in the first division. They were relegated but got to the FA Cup final where they lost to Man Utd on a replay. I went to Hove Park School, which was only 400 yards from the old Goldstone Ground. It's hard to believe it's been so long since they were asset stripped of that ground by that execrable chairman, whose name I can't be bothered to look up. I can't confess to being much of a fan. I only saw them twice in about ten years. The fans might find it easier to get to Falmer than to Withdean Stadium. There's a railway station at Falmer and a bypass. Withdean Stadium is in a posh part of town.

I'm a dedicated life-long Nottingham Forest fan... They are my 'home' team & I spent my childhood on my dads shoulders on the terraces chering on Cloughies Army, but i've lived just on the edge of Brighton for the last 13yrs & have been to mnay of their games, my son is joining The Seagull Specials - their junior club for disabled children
I am proud to be an honoury Brighton fan this week

Who is your team 'Dandegas' cos they must be bad if you want 8 of our players!! The team might look good on paper but the annoying thing for us is that they don't put any effort in. They have tried in the last 2 home matches and shown what they can do, but for the previous manager (Irvine) and the present one (Megson) they have generally been hopeless. The fans are prepared to give Megson a chance, as this isn't his team. If we aren't challenging at Xmas time though I think things will be different! Football fans are notoriously fickle.
