Continental Ultrasport OK for winter commuting?

Looking at the gp4000s myself.
Just had three punctures in a row on the stock tyres on my giant defy.

In winter I choose 25c gatorskins.

I run Ultrasports 23c all year round without problems and only one front flat in two and a half years and I like them although I don`t ride in snow and have never used any other tyre so don`t know how they compare.

Bontrager Race Lite Hardcase or rubino pros in 700 x 25

They are roughly the same price so any advice would be appreciated.

Not used Rubinos but have used Racelights and have found them tough and long lasting.

£25 a pair on ebay at the moment!

Are they suitable for winter commuting? Bear in mind I currently use Hutchinson Equinox tyres which I've had no problems with, they're just worn out.
