Contour GPS and Contour Plus

Both these helmet camera's have the function to record GPS information which is stored in the video file.

Storyteller allows you to extract the GPS information in a GPX file but I have found it is not compatible with useful tools such as SportsTracks 3.0.

A Contour owner has developed their own program to extract the GPS information from the .mov file and allows the information to be saved in other formats, more importantly there is a choice of 3 different GPX file formats. I have found the route GPX format generates a file suitable for SportsTracks and hence keep a daily log of recorded journeys including useful info such as speed and distance.

No support for OS X. Brilliant!
I'm sure i will be able to find a work around when i get my plus, although i probably only be using it for dash ware which as far as i'm aware already has a way of dealing with this.

I have dash ware, it's important to remember not to start recording before having GPS lock otherwise you end up trying to manually synch it, as I found out after my first ride collecting GPS data.
