Contour Roam 1 issues

Sorry if this is wrong place.

I have got a contour roam 1 and it's been a reliable camera. However I have started to notice than the video playback quality has reduced.
It's set at full HD and have tried other setting,but it does not seem to improve picture.

When I pause the video now I cannot make out the number plates of vehicles where in the past I could view number plates very clearly.

Could it be the camera itself or could it be the micro SD card? Any ideas?

Stupid question, but have you checked the lens? It can get dirty/scratched.
What settings are you running the camera at?

I've had no luck getting hold of contour technical support, they don't reply to any emails or have a phone number.

As said, check the lens is clean first.

It's a shame that Contour has gone bust, they made a good camera.

Holy crap, they gone bust??? Looks like I'm goosed for spare parts then.
Shame as the roam's been a good camera!

I'm glad he did it. He didn't want it gone nor do I. Contour is great and has loads of advantages which I love. They just need to get a camera which can do a bit more than the current models and they will be into a winner and te model design is 1m* better than go pro
