Corsica, Sardinia, Pyrenees or Italy?

Sardinia, as it's the next island and therefore likely to be the most similar in terrain/weather. Alps/Dolomites may be starting to face the onset of winter

In October, I'd probably opt for the furthest south option of Sardinia.

Edit: just looked at their web page thinking maybe I might be tempted... but, at over £100 day, it's a bit pricey for me.

We had snow in the Pyrenees late last September, but this was unseasonal, and the day after our landlord assured us it didn't snow at our altitude until November. I've had snow in the alps in early september at relatively low altitude. So I'd follow yello's advice

I was just about to say October is much the wettest month in the Pyrenees when I read you'd already rebooked.
