It's not far off one of my ideas.Roads get swept of snow, pavements don't. Pavements then end up with hard packed snow which after melts/re-freezes becomes treacherous underfoot. Pedestrians are always at the bottom of the chain. It costs money, NHS fracture clinics get busy.
My solution is to utilise the hundreds retired and invalid people with their little electric carriages, fitted with a snowplough like the bike to clear footpaths. They can do it on the way to the shops, thus clearing the pavements for those who walk there. I reckon theres a few who don't need the carriages would be up for a bit of snow clearing too :becool:
