God awful place to cycle though, the only redeeming feature is that driving in the place is even WORSE (been there, done that). It didn't help that on yesterdays cycle from Waterloo station out to Brixton and then back in to Euston, it chucked it down with rain.
How do you guys make progress? I was constantly held up by traffic lights and just the obvious fact that the place is so over-crowded and congested. Have to say I was glad to get onto the northbound train out of Euston.
Today the west of Scotland is sunny and I fully intend to get the bike out and enjoy having pretty much sole use of some of the scenic routes around here.
Sometimes you have to get away to appreciate what is lying right on your doorstep
