Coversocks?

I'm wondering if anybody has cover socks and could recommend them. I'm contemplating buying Castelli Belgian Booties, but reviews show they rip due to not having a heel cutout, but surely it would be easy to create a cut out?

Anyway, if anyone could recommend coversocks/booties it'd be appreciated. Thanks

plenty of choice of a good standard surely? with necessary cut outs

I mean cheap thin coversocks. I have waterproof overshoes but they're too thick for warmer weather (when we have it).

Thats still an overshoe. just not waterproof.

Technically overshoes, but these are actually socks worn over shoes, see:

Similar Lycra overshoes/socks are used by time triallists to smooth airflow over shoes and thus enhance performance (!)
