Cracked crank( ritchey sport v1)2002ish

First of all anyone with an old one of these old cranks beware as they have a design flaw.

After snapping left arm on this crank years ago the right side has just cracked and i need a replacement and was wondering if all mountain bike cranks were compatable.

Its on a spesh sirrus sport02 with 52/42/30 rings which i want too re-use.

If i do need too buy a crank with chainrings do i need too also change the chain and cassette.
