well after struggling to get a full time job for 18 months, i get one, then yesterday we get called into a meeting and are told 56 positions have got to go.

on a plus side next friday im climbing on a boat and sailing here.........yippee

Tough news about the job. Is that Pulpit Rock (Preikestolen)? Very nice. I went there a few years back (but wouldn't go near the edge).

Tough luck, just make sure you cop all the holiday pay you're due. Those jobs will probably transfer to an agency, just what we all need a bunch of leeches ringing up to ask if you can go in at 10 minutes notice to earn minimum wage . Anyway sod that have a good trip.

Have a nice holiday. Bummer about the job though. Keep your chin up and don't worry through your holiday. Leave the worrying until you come back. I hope that something works out for you.
