It's for motorcyclists, but I'm wondering if some of the techniques can be applied to cyclists as well.
One is called an 'Anti-SMIDSY manouvre', where if you see a car waiting to pull out, and think they might not see you, you check for overtaking cars first, then weave side to side on the road so that you are more visible.
They also talk about checking for background movement behind the car, but I really didn't understand what they were on about, but apparently it's to help identify possible SMIDSY candidates.
