I am starting to get a little fed up with a creak coming from my carbon seat post.
I have cleaned it and tightened it, creak went away for about a week, so second time I applied a layer of lithium grease. This produced the same result as did an application of copper slip.
My bike is a Carbon Cannondale Synapse and the seat post is designed to flex to soften the ride.
I would be interested to know if anyone has had the same trouble and how they got over it.

Grease should not be used, see this. Try some carbon assembly gel instead.
