crud mk 2 fit mk 1?

I think i read that the mk 2 crud spares fit the mk 1?
if iits true i am thinking of changing my commuter for a bit more coverage..

I think they do, but I gave away my Mk1s when I got the Mk2s so I can't check for you.

Yes. I converted my Mk 1s into Mk2s by buying the appropriate bits. That was in the 'postage stamps' era. Not sure it would be cost effective now.

I've a feeling that is why they charge the going rate now; I reckon people were assembling sets for the cost of a few stamps!

cheers , its £6.50 for a spares kit.... might just be worth getting the full set for £20 if i shop around.

For the bigger pieces, more stamps! The good thing was you could get just the parts you needed for repairs or whatever, not a 'kit'. As a result I have tended to mend and make do after recent breakages rather than replace parts.
