crud race blade help

Just mounted these to my roady and the pile strips are that close to the rims that when you spin the wheel you can hear them and see the wheel slowing down has anyone any tips for adjusting them please?

They are there to locate the blades centrally on the wheel / tyre, so they are meant to rub on the rims. They shouldn't slow things down much, though, are you sure they are doing so or is that a perception because of the noise?

They should quieten down after a ride or two
