CTC emails to CC members

I just got one of those "CycleClips" information emails from the CTC. Particularly funny in my case, since the issues discussed in the email aren't exactly local to my area . I was wondering if any of you had received similar, even when you're not CTC members? I sent a polite email back to them saying I think they might be mistaken about how far their influence spreads .
