Just out of interest why did you specify Alaska separately? As far as I know Alaska is just one of the US of A. Like Idaho. Or am I missing something?

Because my neighbours are in Canada at the moment they were going to Alaska on a cruise but because they visited Cuba two years ago they were refused entry. Just thought you should know because they didn’t and cost them dearly.

Not true. You’ll no longer be eligible for electronic travel visa waiver. You’ll have to apply for a visa. Not an outright ban, but an extra hoop to jump through.
