I've got no experience with that particular bike. I'd generally want drops, but I can see why a flat-barred cross style bike might be favoured- I could certainly make some use out of something like that (if I had the space for any more..)

Price seems reasonable, I guess the shifters and brake levers work out a bit cheaper than road style levers of a similar spec (Tiagra?).

You love the look of it- that's usually good enough for me.

I just prefer an upright riding position, plus I want the slightly wider tyres for riding on gravel etc.

I've heard good things about CUBE bikes, the components seem good and apparently the wheels that come with it (Alex EN24) are very light and decent quality. I've noticed manufacturers usually skimp on wheels when you get a decent groupset.

I've looked over all comparible brands - trek, giant, spec, felt etc and none seem to compare. The only one that comes close is the boardman.
