Cycle carriers for cars

I would love to travel to other parts of the country and spend a day out cycling and exploring.
I own a Citroen C1 my wife has the Mazda 6. I need a carrier that will carry just one bike and is easy to use. Any advice would be helpful.

Saris makes some good bike racks and are sold by Halfords. I bought a Saris Bonez for a 2007 Mazda 6 myself for £80. Works fine so long as your car doesnt have a spoiler. Should be compatible with your Citroen as well.

You might struggle to get a rear carrier for the C1, as don't they have all glass tailgates? That said, there will be a suitable solution out there for you.

saris do straps for use with glass tailgates aswell, i havent used them but recommend the saris bones , straps can be found here

I got the roof mounted carrier from halfords for £15, not ideal if you want to swap between cars plus you need roof bars, but for £15 it's ideal
