Cycle computer

I am a new member. Recently got back into cycling. Taken advantage of the government "cycle solutions" scheme through my employer, to get a decent road bike.
I have bought a Halfords wireless 9 function cycle computer. Tried to fit it but because of the aerodynamic front forks (oval shaped instead of roundish), it doesn't seem to fit well.
Has anyone else fitted this computer to this type of fork, or can anyone recommend a better type to fit?

I have this one too (not on an aero fork tho') and ok, it is a bit fiddly but have you tried adding one or two of the rubber strips under the ty-wrap to get it to grip? Also you'll need to use pliers or something similar pull it really tight, finger grip strength is not enough.

I think most forks these days are oval. I've always used Sigma computers with no probs. at all.
