At the risk of incurring ridicule for bringing up a well discussed topic I am looking for help choosing a new cycle computer to replace my Cateye wireless.

Don't think I want to go to the lengths of Garmin 705 or 800 but what I do need is something with a largish screen and big numbers. (computer screens have messed with my eyes these last 10 years)

I think I would prefer wireless. Any help would be appreciated

Thanks Derrick point noted.I read a comparison review in Cycling Plus tgis month and the Sigma 2209 Targa came out on top. They show it as £136 but have seen it advertised at £99.I don't mind paying if it's good. Does anyone have experience of this model?

What sort of features do you want? I'm not familiar with the cateye, but I've just bought a Botranger 4W. It's cheap, got big numbers and shows average speed, max speed, distance, overall distance, time and you can set 2 wheel sizes.

It's on sale at Evans now for 25 quid.
