sloppy old crap

closer than they do without a cycle lane doesn't mean close

traffic and bikes work well with a clearly marked lane because everyone is comfortable with where they shold be, there's aliterally a line

with no line drivers have to think and so go wider, bit like that unmarked road idea

almost no story here at all and it annoys me that it's being used to make any point whatsoever, I'm perfectly happy on the roads but I like to see a lane on busy traffic roads, if only because it stops the traffic blocking a route

As with all limited studies it simply implies a trend that needs to be further investigated -

...or simply listen to the millions of cyclists that use the roads every week!
