cycle routes in mid Cheshire

Can anyone out there reccomend a good circular route in mid Cheshire of around 30ish miles that I could try out this Sunday. A very kind member has offered to take me out to help get some miles done and provide me with some technique tips and any suggestions on routes would be greatfully recieved.

I'm South Cheshire, so forays up to Buxton etc are always good fun.

Mid Cheshire, I'm presuming Northwich, Middlewich way? In which case, try the lanes towards Jodrell Bank etc, can go for miles without hitting much traffic or the A roads, quite flat too.

Loads of lanes around Peover, Over Peover , yep they are places, just don't call it pee over, its pronounced pever - the locals get upset

I live near the Buxton route if you mean past Rudyard, or do you mean cat and fiddle out of Macc?
Anyway, the Rudyard route is on my to do list but as a newbie I do not feel it would be too much fun yet

Or get down to your local library and look for some route guides, in the sport section in my local.

Whatever you don't try areas round by Cholmondley Castle http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&h...-2.688947&spn=0.012071,0.028925&t=h&z=15&om=1 - the hills are a BIG no-no.
