...and my newest bike!

It's a Condor Acciaio (still having trouble remembering how to spell it). It's not going to be my regular commuter bike but just this morning the sun was shining and I felt in a weekend mood. So I decided to take it to work.

It was definitely a joy to ride in. All gear changes were smooth, acceleration was excellent. Hope to take it out for a little spin this evening if the weather holds.

The only trouble is I had to lug two huge locks in to secure it at work. In fact, excuse me, must go to check it is still there!!

Definitely steel - you can view this year's version at http://www.condorcycles.com/acciaio.html. I bought the 2008 version in the sales. The only slight problem is that the frame is an interesting shade of red - there are those who would and have called it pink!!!!

I've up and down in the lift to the basement carpark loads of times today to check it is still there - it was the last time I checked. If I get a chance I'll upload some piccies when I am back home. The version I have came with Campag Mirage groupset (first time I have ever owned Campagnolo equipment - other than a water bottle many years ago!)

Steel bikes are't cheap.....

Very nice - it's too tempting to ride to work on a good/best bike - makes you go too fast, then get all paranoid parking it..... when I use my Ribble road bike I do bring it up to the office - just in case Tharg spots it in the shed !

Im always on the lookout for your ribble

Will be riding my own ribble soon, not as nice as yours though. New project of mine, track frame will be built into a winter commuter

Pink or opalescent red - you decide!

Here you go - this is what last year's model looks like in my back yard! And you are right, skwerl, it Zero Replica steel. As you say, very light and very stiff. Got me to work today and home (with a few laps of Regents Park for the fun of it!)
