Hi all,

I'm not sure whether this is the MOST appropriate forum, but I'm guessing that it's predominantly commuters who will have the biggest bugbear with inappropriate cyclestorage upon arrival at work.

Anyway; our workplace has come up against a brick wall regarding the TFL's apparent strategyto get Sheffield stands installed; and so our building manager has looked at theseinstead. Interestingly; the forums are where one of the designersobtained some questionnaire responses, so some of you may well have filled that questionnaire in!

Has anyone got them/used them? If so, what did you think? Can you lock your frame properly to the unit, and how long a D-lock do you n eed to do that?

Cheers muchly,
'Nomes.

I just last week used the cycle stands at Papworth Hospital which are made by the same company. You can't get a D lock through your frame with them. If you don't have a long and flexible lock, your frame is insecure. I'm not a fan of these.

Out of idle curiosity I went to their website and looked at the 'how to' video, it turns out I was doing it all wrong! There is a way of locking the frame to the pod with a D-lock and it doesn't look look it would have to be very long.

My local train station has these. Never used them but they look pretty cool, if you can get it up and locked without being run over by your own bike.
