Then you won't know how strssed they can get
Overgeneralisation?
No as it's not private afaikYou been in Lincoln hospital recently?
Plenty of places to park bikes at the local hospital, but little chance of a space. AFAICT, this was taken fairly early morning, yet still the main entrance parking was pretty full: https://goo.gl/maps/ZUd9fHFm4fS2Last time I had a hospital appointment, there was nowhere to park my bike and I had to lock it to a sign
Well, yes, but most hospitals woefully underprovide cycle parking. The only hospital I know which has many spaces showing on Street View is Weston General in the famously cyclist-hostile North Somerset - at most, flyparking is visible. (I only checked those I know as cycle parking is often not on maps and not obvious - as well as Addenbrookes, I checked King's Lynn, Norwich, Northampton, Milton Keynes and BRI.)That's a city with a strong cycling population however
I'm surprised if that's not a breach of planning permission conditions. If it isn't, then the local council has missed a trick. The local private hospital here has done away with cycle stands and railings to make more space for cars it seems...there might be some hidden away for staff I guess
Well, if you are not, then how are you getting home? Driving while exhausted is as dangerous as driving drunk.Depends if youre awake enough to handle the stess of the ride

Cycling is visibly very popular in London, fwiw.
Similar story here in Manchester. Motorists are quite content to sit in traffic all the way into the city centre in single occupancy vehicles even though on bike it would probably be quicker, even for a slow cyclist. Transport for Greater Manchester is only obsessed with buses and trams and therefore all the 'improvements' to cycling infrastructure they are making at the moment are generally misguided at best and dangerous at worst in order to prioritise buses and make motorists even more angsty.
Was a lovely morning today, saw perhaps 10-15 cyclists max on a 10 mile commute. It's shocking really, especially after having spent a few years living in London where cycling really is taking off.
