While waiting at a red light this morning, a guy in baggies on a MTB pulls up my left, seemed a little surprised when I said "morning". The lights change and we set off but the next set of lights 200 metres ahead a red so no point putting any effort in.
As I come to a stop I suddenly see the MTB mount the pavement, not shared, and the cyclist use the pavement to bypass the traffic lights.
But surprise surprise, it is not long before I am cruising past them as with most of the "pavement riding to bypass a red light" cyclists I see in Swindon they are riding illegally to make up for being slow.
Not only that some classic grinding going on, looked painful to me.
Must have confused any daily wail motorists who saw it, as there was a stupid cyclist on the pavement as usual but then some stupid "non-road tax paying" cyclist on the road.
