Cyclists Have Dirtiest Feet

Apparently scientists have sampled the various bacteria in sportsmens/womens feet and out of 10 different sports, cyclists come out tops.

They found that out of a range of bacteria commonly found on the feet of athletes, cyclists provided a home to 25% of them as opposed to footballers with only 5%.

Let's hope they don't study armpits next or we're really in trouble.

I am a cyclist and martial artist.

Because of the close contact in my style (Ju-Jitsu) I am very particular at making sure my feet are as clean as possible and well-talced before training.

Scientists sit on their arses all day (in the same shoes) as do journalists who write this crap.

Pinch of salt time.

Active people sweat and (mostly) shower/wash/bathe daily.
