howling wind and lashing rain when i got up, so i spent ages digging out winter rain jacket, rainproofing shoes etc only for the rain to go off by the time i'm at the end of my street, and completely sunny 10 miles later. so there's me, overdressed and far too hot.

pah

Yesterday rode in... way too hot.
Rode home... way too hot.
Promised myself I'd wear shorts and shirt only today.
Room in the pannier for tights and jacket.
Woke up. Bottled it.
Rode in... way too hot.

Must try harder.

I rode in wearing shorts and a short sleeved top this morning.

It was freezing.

I hope it warms up later, or I'll have to put my "boil in the bag" rain gear on to keep warm.

I rode in through a deluge wearing shorts under my waterproofs. Fully expecting 20 degrees and sunny by the time I go home - rainglasses on the way in, sunglasses on the way back! That's if the weather forecast comes to life.

It's warm and sunny darn 'ere in the sarf-east at the moment, so expect (hope) that's on its way to join all you others as well ..

It does mean that the country park that I use for the most couple of miles of my journey home is gonna be crowded though ..

And I was late this morning and forgot to pack my work clothes.

I cycled in this morning wearing 3/4 length trousers, a thin base layer and my rain jacket (rain legs and overshoes in the saddle bag ready). I'm prepared for either sun or rain later!

Very nice and warm now.
9am though it was a bit chilly and 8am it was Heavy Rain, Thunder and Lightning. Glad I booked the day off and hope it's not too bad tomorrow morning.

Way home was a tad windy. Much to my dismay it was the first time I'd actually had the wind against me going up a particular hill. Jolly hard work that was.
