There are times when he lands on a high object with the front wheel on top of the object and his back wheel on the vertical face. Then.........his back wheel just lifts up and over. How does that work?

1) front disc brake secures front wheel to point where he can create leverage and pull himself up on the bike and create momentum to get over the obstacle
2) the grippiest tyres out there for some rear wheel traction
