could anyone tell me if this route would be doable , or if there is any major reason why i couldn't do it . going to do it in march as long as weather permits , slight variation is that i will be slightly north at the end near crockenwell as there is a campsite there- route would be about 112 miles and 1 part of a 3 day 333 mile route , i know its the hardest section and will depend on the weather but just wondered if there was anything else stopping me - if there was i have the option of riding round dartmoor but just like the thought of a remote day - thanks in advance

I think it is do able but Dartmoor in March can be awful.

As Pete says, it's fine as long as the weather's okay. It's the main road over the moor, but shouldn't be terribly busy in March.
I can tell you from experience that it's still doable in gale-force winds and driving rain, but you might not want to.
