Darts. Who is watching the final?

Surprised it hasn't (tmk) been mentioned.
I am shouting for Luke the Nuke Littler for several reasons, one is that until recently he lived a mile from me. He still lives in Warrington but in a £M house with a swimming pool.
I also like the fact that he is just 17 years old.

I used to watch darts in the first few years of this century when it was on the BBC after Christmas, from I think it was The Lakeside leisure thingy In Surrey, or something like that.I remember Ronnie Baxter losing in the I think 2000 and 2001 finals.I went to secondary school with Ronnie. In fact he was in our little gang who used to skive off triple maths on Monday mornings and head up to the nearby reservoir for air rifle practice. Not only that but I was the one who got him into darts, when we'd play darts in our school's youth club. I challenged him to a game, with him saying he didn't know how to play. I taught him the basics and he liked it so much that he practiced for hours to eventually become one of Lancashire's best player!

As for will I be watching the final, no I won't as although I do have a telly it hasn't been on since November 2019 when England lost the Rugby World Cup Final to "Sith Efrica"! 🧐

I would have watched it, had it been on mainstream TV - but as with any sporting event worth watching, it seems it was only being shown on one of the subscription channels. And I refuse to go down that road.
