Just seen this in weekends local free paper.

Unbelievable that they didn't get off their bike and go back the way they had come when faced with the motorway junction. I'm amazed that they survived as that is one nasty junction with traffic rounding the bend on approach at speed and watching for merging traffic rather than what is in front of them, a scene of regular multicar shunts in busy periods.

Even more perplexing is how they accidently managed to stray onto the motorway as the roundabouts that lead you that way are not exactly enticing to cyclists, even if lost you would not go that way. Only thing I can think off is they were following googlemaps and were set on 'car journey' for routing option?

Very lucky not to be splatted all down the M60 from Bredbury to Denton....

I should be a pedant here and point out that to be eligible for a Darwin Award, you have to remove yourself (and your stupidity) from the gene pool, so the fact that she survived, means she can't be a winner...

I can't believe that anybody from any country, would feel safe cycling like that on roads like that anywhere!
