a chap who used to come out on the saturday club run apparently used to use petrol to clean his bike in his garage. factor in an old fashioned open flued boiler in said garage and you won't be surprised to learn that he sustained bad burns as a result of the petrol vapour being drawn into the boiler and igniting.
