Yes, I know I'm annoying you, but I'm honestly not doing it to be clever. I'm doing because I can see (and you can't) that the whole length of the road ahead to the next traffic lights has been constricted by roadworks. That means you've only just got room to get through yourself, and certainly not to pass me.
