gah, luxury travel for you then. When I got sent to HO in Paris I had to get the Disney flight back with fleasyjet. Lots of grumpy kids with half-inflated balloons, accompanied by zombie parents.

Unfortunately I'm still in the back of the bus with the goats and chickens. :-(
Flying this summer especially to Italy and Spain has been much as you describe though, it's prompted me to ask Santa for noise cancelling headphones ....
